3rd Grade Expectations
As beginning Spanish students, third graders try to relax, listen and follow lessons given totally in Spanish. Teachers work to make language accessible by developing thoughtful lessons which incorporate visual aides, formulaic language structures, vocabulary and projects that build from day to day.
Students should feel successful if they are able to understand an increasing amount of what is covered in lessons, can follow basic directions and commands and become comfortable understanding some albeit not all of the aural input.
