Emociones Project
Fifth grade students learned 13 main emotions in order to respond to ¿Cómo estas? (bien, mal, así-así, and the ten emotions used in the matching game here on the emociones vocabulary practice page on this site).
Next, students translated new emotion words, created charts and taught the words to the rest of the class. They presented their emotion posters to the class by completing three main activities which reinforced three action verbs in Spanish:
1) Leer la emoción al clase (Read the emotion to the class)
2) Actuar la emoción (Act out the emotion)
3) Preguntar al clase "¿Comó se dice este emoción en Ingles?" (Ask the class "How do you say this emotion in English?")
