Suggested Family Projects

Families can do various things to support Spanish language practice and acquisition at home. For example:

Label items in your house with Spanish words (el refrigerador, la televisión, etc.)

Plan to eat at a restaurant which serves food from a Spanish speaking country and order in Spanish (remember to include por favor y gracias)

Sing songs in Spanish as a family (from this website or other Spanish speaking singers)

Go to a museum or event which celebrates latino culture
